There are several board meetings, reunions, parties, and events that are held in the museum. For this reason, the museum needed a kitchen. Also, Judi had a dream to build her “family” kitchen from the 1950’s, so a replica kitchen was added to the museum.
Judi’s home kitchen was yellow with General Electric appliances. She found the yellow chrome legged table and chairs and General Electric appliances to create a replica of her childhood kitchen. She has always been a collector and had kept her childhood wall hangings from her nursery and a lot of her toys. A bedroom, nursery, and a TV (rabbit ears and all) became part of the package. It is a step back in time to visit this 1950's themed room!
